Driveflow Enterprises – Car Rental Agreement

Welcome to Driveflow Enterprises. By accessing our website or renting a vehicle from us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.


1. Rental Eligibility

  • Renters must be at least 23 years old with a valid driver’s license held for at least 2 years.

  • An original National ID or Passport, valid driver’s license, and proof of residence may be required at pick-up.

  • International renters must provide a valid International Driving Permit (IDP).


2. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings are subject to vehicle availability.

  • A minimum deposit (percentage or fixed amount) is required to confirm a reservation.

  • Full payment must be made before or at the time of vehicle collection.

  • Payment can be made via Mobile Money, Bank Transfer, Debit/Credit Card, or Cash.


3. Rental Period

  • The rental period begins and ends on the dates agreed upon in the rental agreement.

  • Late returns may attract a late fee per hour or be billed as an extra day.

  • Early returns are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.


4. Vehicle Use

  • The vehicle may only be driven by the authorized driver(s) listed in the rental agreement.

  • Vehicles must not be used for:

    • Illegal activities.

    • Racing, off-roading, or towing.

    • Transporting dangerous or hazardous materials.

  • Smoking is not permitted inside the vehicle. A cleaning fee will be charged for violations.


5. Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles are provided with a certain fuel level and must be returned with the same level.

  • Refueling charges apply if the vehicle is returned with less fuel.


6. Insurance & Liability

  • All vehicles are insured with comprehensive cover.

  • The renter is liable for:

    • The insurance excess/deductible in case of damage.

    • Any losses not covered by insurance (e.g., negligence, unauthorized driver, off-road use).

  • In the event of an accident, you must notify Driveflow Enterprises and the police immediately.


7. Breakdown & Roadside Assistance

  • We provide 24/7 roadside assistance for all rentals.

8. Vehicle Condition

  • Vehicles are delivered in clean and roadworthy condition.

  • A pre-rental and post-rental inspection will be conducted.

  • Renters are responsible for keeping the vehicle clean and reporting any damage or issues.


9. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance may be eligible for a partial or full refund.

  • No-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in forfeiture of deposit.


10. Termination

Driveflow Enterprises reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and recover the vehicle at any time if:

  • The vehicle is used in violation of these terms.

  • The renter provides false or misleading information.

  • There are signs of abuse, neglect, or suspected illegal activity.


11. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation, or where necessary, through legal proceedings within Kenyan jurisdiction.
